Italian Blend
When offered, our Italian Blend is usually a beautiful complex oil with lots of character stemming from the blend of four of our Italian oils: Itrana, Pendolino, Frantoio, Nocellara del Belice. Lots of grass and herbs and green olives in this oil, with a warm and very sharp finish.
When offered, our Italian Blend is usually a field blend of our early ripening Italian varietals- among them Pendolino, Itrana, Frantoio, and Nocellara del Belice. Overall, this blend is usually moderately robust. The oil is aromatic, with notes of fresh grass, artichoke, green olive, green tea -- sweet and buttery up front with a short, sharp and warm peppery finish.
