Eats and Inspirations

You can use olive oil as a condiment - to dress salads or drizzle on soups and grilled food, or as an ingredient in wide range of recipes – from appetizers to desserts. As befits a food with such a long history, there are many wonderful ways to serve it. One of our favorite ways is one of the simplest:  drizzled on a scoop of the very best vanilla ice cream you can find and topped with a pinch of very high grade salt.  (Like you might find from Spice Hound in San Francisco):
